Studies say that there is no difference between boys and girls in their preference of objects and various colours. In fact, both genders prefer all colours. But the reason behind girls differentiating to like pink has simple influencing factors.

Most of the parents prefer the pink colour of girl baby as they look cute in that colour. They wear pink colour clothing, give pink and soft toys to a baby which influences right from the infant stage. So really, if girls like pink a lot, chances are they wore a lot of pink clothes and played with a lot of pink toys in childhood. Basically pink is known as a delicate colour that means sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic and charming and tenderness. All these are related to the character of a girl and used whenever people describe a girl, her habits and behaviour. Pink is hugely associated with bubble gum, flowers, babies, little girls, cotton candy and sweetness.

Parents design a separate room for girls and boys by differentiating the gender. They take care of everything based on this perspective only.

Firstly from a happy colour in the room as this makes them feel natural. Then add different colours in the texture for a bright look. The best part is to mix the room with very fresh and useful and entertaining accessories.

Recommended is to keep more storage space for them. Sometimes you can be more creative by designing some wall pockets a table space and a doll corner which gives an entertaining feel in their room, however, finally, the room should look like the personality of your kid.

    WOW! OMG! Even I did not know that there’s so much of having pink in girls room. Even I wanted my room to be pink when my parents designed it. But there is a lot of marketing strategy and influence from childhood in deciding colors. I will tell my mom and dad about this!
